NIKE’s buzzworthy “Make it Count” campaign has been making its way around the internet recently and today we finally got a look into what it’s all about with their release of the NIKE FUELBAND. The release was accompanied by this amazing viral marketing video — nobody does it like NIKE does it.

Renowned artist ERIC HAZE has a new collection of paintings up at the Known Gallery on Fairfax. The show, titled “NEW MATHEMATICS,” echoes back to Eric’s roots as a graffiti artist as he incorporates his now familiar geometric elements / bold lines / and black and white color palette.
A giant in the art and design community, HAZE has worked with the likes of NIKE / CASIO / and the BEASTIE BOYS just to name a few. His new work shows off a unique new style and vision. Stop by the Known Gallery and check it out.

One of our so.cal key accounts Primitive was profiled on hypebeast.com this past week and did interviews with P.Rod and the key players of this establishment.
Jay who is the VP of Primitive gave MT a shout out, you will catch him in the streets rocking the Hillyard’s all day. Jay’s quote “Sunglasses are a necessity for me when it’s bright out, and in L.A. that’s pretty often. Right now my favorite pair is the Hillyard from Mosley Tribes. The frame is a stately, yet simple modern design. I picked up a second pair and had my prescription lenses put in the frame for when I don’t feel like wearing my contact lenses. So last month I went to a Dwell Magazine event over that the 722 Fig space and got to know some of the crew that runs things over there. Chris who is one of the partners there gave me a tour of the space and the many brands that are represented there. The Kim Sing Theater is an amazing space and has been reconfigured into an amazing space. This space has a lot of historical value as well as future value, the fashion brands that are represented by this amazing showroom are Nike, Earl McGrath, Matix, Dwell Magazine, Ludwig and Keep Company to name a few. Also displayed is the innovative design of FORDBRADY furniture which i think is so sick. I am glad that i got to connect with Chris and look forward to future partnerships with MOSLEY TRIBES and 772 Figueroa, enjoy the video and understand what i am talking about.

So the homie Flynn Adam rolled thru the office today to catch up on whats good at Sunset Plaza. He is the other half of the ROOTBEER group. They are hitting the stage tomorrow in the SD to perform with N.E.R.D, The Cool Kids among others. If you are in SD you should check out this all day festival.
