AGENDA
Friday, January 6th, 2012Headed South on the 710 to the AGENDA Trade Show Thursday afternoon at the Long Beach Convention Center. What was once a small showcase of up and coming brands, AGENDA is now the premier Trade Show for the Streetwear community along with leaders in the Action Sports and Skate industries as well.

Of course MOSLEY TRIBES was strongly represented. Jasmine was holding down the booth as usual making deals.

MOSLEY TRIBES has one of the strongest collections to date moving into 2012 along with some of the best collaborations we’ve ever had. Stay tuned for more in the near future.

The usual suspects were involved including our friends at CROOKS.

STUSSY.

THE HUNDREDS.

UNDEFEATED.

Something big is coming…

One of the most refreshing parts of AGENDA is the PRIMER section. PRIMER focuses on young upstart brands who in the past have paved the way for AGENDA to become what it is today.

One of the strongest showings was from the Gro Project. Made some new friends with Richardo and the gang who run the brand out of Denver CO. One of my favorite graphics from the show.

Be on the lookout for these guys and the Gro Project.

On the way out ran into the man himself, RISK, doing what he does best. Represent Seventh Letter Crew.

Until next year.

AGENDA TRADESHOW 2012
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011ART IN THE STREETS
Wednesday, November 30th, 2011As a follow up to MOCA’s incredible Art in the Streets show, the West Hollywood Library teamed up with some legendary street artists to let them add their personal touch to the brand new building.
THE Shepard Fairey

New York’s own Kenny Scharf.

And my personal favorite, RETNA (a.k.a. Marquis Lewis). RETNA is KILLING it right now.

Check out the work on San Vicente and Melrose.

LIGHTS // CAMERA //
Monday, November 21st, 2011Last Thursday we worked late into the night at a studio in downtown Los Angeles photographing the upcoming campaign for MOSLEY TRIBES. It was a long night of work, we were grinding on set till after midnight - but great company and great food got us through.

The prep…

The Goods…

// ACTION!

Of course you’ll have to wait on the photos for the upcoming campaign for just a bit. Rest assured they’ll be worth the wait.

BRUNCH
Friday, November 11th, 2011Breakfast for lunch? When it comes to The Griddle the answer is always YES. An unassuming store front and a nondescript location next to the Directors Guild on Sunset might deter some, but The Griddle is one of the few restaurants in Los Angeles that lives up to the hype. Brave the line on weekends for the best breakfast in the city. Streusel, butterscotch chip, and carmel filled pumpkin pancakes topped with whipped cream with a side of bacon and of course, MOSLEY TRIBES Dorset. Yes please.

INTO THE WILD
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011Ventured over to SIREN STUDIOS today on Sunset today to take a behind the scenes look at the Crooks and Castles Winter Lookbook photo shoot. We provided the guys over at CROOKS with some of the latest MOSLEY TRIBES sunglasses to style out their models. Not to be overlooked was the adult Serval cat named Alex that was hanging out on the shoot.

Waiting for his close up…

This guy was a trooper all day assisting the models on the shoot without any hassle. Gotta hand it to the creative team at CROOKS for what is destined to be another great Lookbook. Can’t stop the CROOKS, or Alex.

NEW MATHEMATICS
Friday, September 30th, 2011Renowned artist ERIC HAZE has a new collection of paintings up at the Known Gallery on Fairfax. The show, titled “NEW MATHEMATICS,” echoes back to Eric’s roots as a graffiti artist as he incorporates his now familiar geometric elements / bold lines / and black and white color palette.

A giant in the art and design community, HAZE has worked with the likes of NIKE / CASIO / and the BEASTIE BOYS just to name a few. His new work shows off a unique new style and vision. Stop by the Known Gallery and check it out.
