So as some of you might have heard, the MOSLEY crew spent some time in a remote area of the Hawaiian Islands. It was a life changing experience for some who have only experienced the concrete jungle.  We were well equipped for this journey and will be relaunching the site in January which will visually explain it all. This box showed up on my desk today, was really surprised to see VANS packing label on the side.  I have to say that the new OTW Collection from VANS is really my style,  the silhouettes that are present are definitely inspired by the traditional icons that we all grew up with. It is clear to me that the OTW Collection’s main focus is on the details, materials and comfort. (Top to Bottom) This Hi Top Alomar has a wool upper mixed with leather piping and waxed laces, next on deck is the lo Larkin with suede toe and patent leather details that makes this tonal story epic.  Not sure if these are out in the market yet (hope not), def going to be rocking them as I stroll down Sunset Plaza. Great looks to the crew over at OTW this made my day.

The homie Alex Beh and GF JLH in came thru the office this morning, had the pleasure of fitting them and catching a flix on there way out. JLH was caught in the new OLIVER PEOPLES  style that is hot in the streets called “Lips Of Fire” such a classic look and Alex is rocking the new Burke in black. Thanks fam it was great to see you both today.

So prior to last week the MT crew jumped on a plane and landed in paradise (also know as Kauai, Hawaii) to shoot our next campagin in the sun. The epic waterfalls, coves, and mountian tops were the backdrop to the amazing collection to come. We will be dropping a new site in the beginning of 2011 showcasing the amazing photography once again by The Social Trust. In the photo above is Jazzy who is one of the main players in the MT brand and my counterpart who helped get all the styling and looks together for our shoot. This past week I had the pleasure with meeting Mike and Jason from PARABELLUM, I have to say that it has been a long time since I have seen a company/brand pay as much attention to detail and quality.  The iconography, subtle symbolism, and precise package presentation makes thier products supreme.  The leather goods that they produce is made from 100% American Bison leather that is from fully grown and mature 15 year old bison. Through using older and more mature leathers they achieve amazing textures and patterns that cannot be achieved in processed leathers. Kevlar is used to reinforce all their goods as an interior liner and space age ceramic buttons that brand each piece in the collection. When you are at Collette in Paris or Tomorrowland in Tokyo take a look at the collection, it will blow your mind.

If you wish for peace, prepare for war.

So we caught our good friend and MOSLEY TRIBES supporter Alex Beh in the streets of BH with his girl JLH at the Beverly Hills Hotel for Peace over Violence event. A. Beh day or night is holding down MOSLEY whether it is the Lyndels, Paladinos or Hillyards (in this photo). A great look my friend keep it up.

This weeks issue of WWD Mens featured the new up and coming style called the Burke by MOSLEY TRIBES in Tiger Tortoise, which is a custom color that the MOSLEY TRIBES team created specifically for this season. The Burke is such a great style that will be coming to the marketplace very soon.  The keyhole bridge mixed with the smaller round optical inspiration is really hot in the streets right now and was well received last week at our press preview day in New York.  And this press hit only reiterates our feelings on how strong this colorway is and will be with the consumer.
