This past Sunday Pepsi, Undefeated , and Union joined for a Slam Dunk Contest hosted by Epiphany Media Group. The multi-activity event was held at the beautiful London Hotel in West Hollywood with video game stations provided by EA Games, life size Chess, and a 7 foot basketball hoop set up for dunking participants like: Coltrane (Epiphany) Johan (Rogue Status) Ben (Clae) Mega (Black Scale) etc…. who showed off their creative hops. Belvedere IX and Sobe Life Water cocktails kept the party cool and jumpin in the summer Cali sun.
Got a box in the mail today from the BLVCK SCVLE crew (thanks MEGA). They sent me a sick Crew Neck, i love the symbolism associated with all the graphics that they do. There designs are thought provoking and make visual statements that only a few learned individuals know the true meaning. This brand is for the decerning conspirator. If you are in SF deffinitly go by there pop up store on 1798 San Jose Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94112.
This past weekend a lot of friends including myself gathered in the Bay to support the guys of Blackscale for their pop up shop opening. The store looks awesome and the turnout was a true testament to Blackscale’s accomplishments; and they’re just gettin started. With that, the nights were filled with celebration all weekend and Meg@geM showed how the bay really gets it in the Blvckops way. If you’re in the bay get to 1798 San Jose Avenue and cop the store exclusives.
Bay Area representatives Megagem and Alfred De Tagle are setting up shop in San Francisco, CA – the city where the Black Ops movement began. Congratulations on the brick and mortar – can’t wait to celebrate.
Maestro and MJ hit the bay area for episode 7 of Maestro Knows the weekend of the Hellz & Blackscale party.
We all had a great time hangin out – the Blackscale camp were the best hosts in showing us beautiful San Francisco. MegaGem was reppin the Lyndel Ginghams in both red and blue very well the whole video.
Black Scale’s core concepts are meaningful and powerful inspirations communicated through fashion derived from historical and spiritual roots. The designs are deep in message but aesthetically clean and sophisticated. This is a new brand that takes the contemporary lifestyle of “streetwear” above and beyond the graphic tee.
Below are images from their latest look book for the exclusive collection sold on Karmaloop.com. Much love to the two models of this shoot, Sean Lyles; an ill photographer that is bound for the world to recognize, (check out his work here) and RobNoir for reppin the Oliver Peoples NDG-1and Mosley Tribes Lyndel Red Gingham for this shoot – definitely made sense. You killed it with this shoot’s concept Mega.

Been peeping BLVCK SCVLE since it dropped a minute ago, it is great to see a brand that really brings a different perspective on life and clothing. I want to def thank Mega and the dudes at BLVCK SCVLE for the nice care package. This crew is def. bringing the heat with dope graphic shirts that really create interest. I really dig on the dark vibe and religious iconography that many of the graphics take inspiration from. BLVCK SCVLE is for the discerning individual who is looking for an alternate path from the street wear craze.
