The cover of VAPORS was one of the last shots take of the late Photographer Sean Mortensen, the photo was shot by Paul Sun of The Social Trust, Sean you will be missed.This issue is the one that featured MOSLEY TRIBES and OLIVER PEOPLES designer and founder Larry Leight.

This photo of Larry was shot in his home office by Photographer Megan Kelsey. This image was shot with a point and shoot Leica D-Lux 3.

So today we (Jasmin and yours truly) started our day out at The Social Trust, we are currently creating a game plan for the upcoming seasonal photo shoot for Resort Spring 2010. Paul has been our partner in creativity for the last 5 seasons. Wow time has passed, i still remember the first shoot we did in the desert. Paul i have to say that we have all come a long way since then.

The next move was to meet up with Josh from Loft Seven and look at one of the possible shoot locations for MOSLEY TRIBES. It is funny how Josh and I have mutual friends, Photographer Mike Rosenthal is a buddy of mine that has done a few campaigns for OLIVER PEOPLES, Josh gave us the royal treatment and grand tour of the building. This place is so sick, I can see future MOSLEY TRIBES events being held at this spot.

I This loft was well designed, there is so much natural light which complements the minimalist aesthetic and gives you breathtaking views of the city we love.

This structure is the 25 person rooftop jacuzzi, what!

Downtown,Coffee and MOSLEY TRIBES MAGALOG, what a great combo….oh yeah and it is friday!

Paul Sun, what can i say that has not already be said. Paul is a great photographer and has been my confidant on the last 4 books that MOSLEY TRIBES has put out. He has a great eye and a steady hand. This seasons book that just dropped i have to say that it is both our best work in print that we have ever collaborated on. This seasons book was shot in New York in January in 22 degree weather with freezing rain, us Cali boys were strugglin out there, i cant handle the cold.

Just last week Paul shot Shawn Mortensen for Vapors Magazine. Shawn is a world renown photographer, some of you might know his work from the Notorious B.I.G to the SUPREME Magazine among others. We are sadden by his sudden passing yesterday.

Rest in peace Shawn.

This loft and roof top have held performances by GHOSTFACE and other musicians. The roof was the place to be. I was really feelin the weather too, it was like Santa Monica in the mornings.

So we land in NY last week and hit all the spots and handled all the lifestyle photography for upcoming summer 2009. As you can see it is really warm in NY this time of year.
