Janelle Monáe brings the feeling of Motown back to the forefront, it has been a minute since i have been impressed by a music video.  The art direction and influence of the Motown Soul era permeates the music and visual imagery by director Wendy Morgan.  There are many elements from the early Jackson 5 that i can hear and see. Enjoy this one, i know you will.

By now we’re all just about very well aware on how over flooded this market is with product that is disposable (I hate to say it but it’s true). Every now and then people will release garments, shoes, footwear (or whatever it may be) that will stand out amongst the crowd. These duck canvas boots are part of the collaborative collection between Keith Hufnagel (HUF) and Dr Romanelli I have to say that it is very interesting on how Keith has moved his product range into something other than a skate driven brand and crossed over to mens contemp. I cant wait to see what else he has in store for us.
