Paying a visual homage to Frank Lloyd Wright’s celebrated design for New York’s ‘Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum‘, the newly opened ‘The Wright‘ Restaurant and Bar, located within the 1950s architectural classic, is designed by ‘designers to watch’, Andre Kikoski Architects. Taking a clear visual lead from the exteriors sleek, innovative design, the restaurant’s opening commemorates the 50th anniversary of the museum and is a fitting tribute with it’s contemporary design and cosmopolitan mood, ably assisted by British artist Liam Gillick’s wonderfully vivid commissioned installation. Seasonal, local and sustainable ingredients form the modern American menu which includes mouth-watering delights such as “Dry Aged Beef Sirloin with Bone Marrow Port Shallot Marmalade” Amazing.
