So you know what time it is. Locals got dumped on so it is time to grab the chains and hit up Mountian High. I know that folks hate on this spot but it is times like these when i really goes off, fresh powder. So my advice would be to grab you gear and hit a night session, that is when all the posers and newbies have to go home and you have an open mountian for the taking. The night boarding is the best, you might be wondering what the temps are it is a chilling 19 degrees, love it.

Patrick, Rickey and I rallied on Sunset and headed over to the new RRL store for their holiday event. Rin Tanaka was signing his latest book – My Freedamn Volume 7. This garage/store is dope so if you haven’t gotten a chance to visit, I suggest you do. Aside from the obvious selection of amazing denim and Americana threads, they had a cool selection of vintage bandannas, messenger bags, and watches as well.

IN-n-OUT burgers and Sapporo Beer was the perfect combo for this event.

Police are still trying to determine who shot a man driving a Bentley this morning on the northbound 101 Freeway, leaving the victim in critical condition and jamming traffic during the morning commute and beyond.
All lanes of the northbound 101 Freeway and the Interstate 5 and Interstate 10 connectors were reopened by 11:43 a.m. after being closed for nearly eight hours while authorities conducted an investigation.

Police found the driver slumped over his steering wheel with gunshot wounds about 3:30 a.m. near the Aliso Street exit. There were multiple bullet holes in the passenger door and window of the Bentley. Police said the shots probably were fired from another car.

The southbound 101 was closed from the northbound 110 Freeway to the eastbound 10 Freeway, said CHP Officer Anthony Martin, and traffic was still being diverted at the connectors to surface streets at 10:30 a.m. as police finished a traffic report.
