I just wanted to big up the homie Haakim for directing this video. Last but not least by any means, Hieroglyphics hailing from the bay area is a group that I grew up on, so sick. Enjoy.-PW

I had to repost this. I was talking to Jasmine yesterday and she to told me that her homie said that D!GiT was in the new Snoop Video. I was skeptical beacsue i had just posted the video last week and didn’t notice her. Due to the low quality videos of YouTube I totally missed her. As you might know from viewing the current MOSLEY TRIBES website that she was our female model for the most recent resort collection. Here are some screen shots from the video and some photos from the last MT shoot, you be the judge.

Old Friends

So in preparation for summer 08 MOSLEY TRIBES Magalog, Jon and myself jumped on a flight to SF. We brought Paul from the SOCIAL TRUST along to document this quick turn around trip. So after delays at LAX, a round at the bar and crazy fog that was so thick I have no idea how we landed safely, we were in the bay. After a quick stop off at the hotel to regroup and drop off our gear we hit the streets walking. I love how SF is compact and that everything was walking distance with train that can connect you to other locations around the city within minutes. I don’t want to show you all the spots we went to, I will let the Magalog do all the talking when it drops. But I do have to say that I was skeptical when Jon was saying that there was a really ill Burrito spot in the mission district. I have traveled to almost all the states in the Union and have not had Mexican food that was as good or better then in LA. Pancho Villa Taqueria was as good as home, the beans were on point. You can always tell how good a Mexican spot is by how good the beans taste. So the three of us chowed down on the quality comida, and after we were done and quite full we headed back to the hotel to chill. Got a call from Huf and we were out the door, got to his house and chilled for a bit. Huf as some really great art in his home my fav was the photos of RUN DMC. So we bounced out after a bit because Huf had a flight to Austin in the a.m Friday. SF was eventful and productive minus the bottom of the barrel Southwest Flights which we took.

Virgin America here we come.

Big Wedn

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

The California Coast is absolutely firing today. Its an unbelievably clear day all the way from Orange County to Santa Barbara with offshore winds and the first solid northwest swell of the winter. C Street, Rincon, and Porto are all double and triple overhead with no sign of stopping. This morning driving out to Malibu it was pure glass, but about 100 people out everywhere. It is Big Wednesday indeed. Check surfline for footage. -GL

Breakfas

Tuesday, December 4th, 2007

This morning on my way into the office i cruised by the the original dip joint “Philippe’s”. I remember when my grandfather would bring me and we would eat roast beef french dips, double dipped of course. This is a classic Angeleno eatery that has been around since who knows when, but this morning me and Paul from The Social Trust were meeting here to discuss tomorrows trip to the bay area for MOSLEY. The breakfast was simple and tasty with sawdust on the floor, it took me back to 1942 when coffee was 7 cents, peep the menu. We talked for about an hour then I jumped back into the car and was on my way to the office. There is a new something being built off the 101 north in downtown. The word on the street is that a new monorail system is being build to help with the traffic, just like the wonderful subway that takes you nowhere.

Snoop Do

This song was cool but the video just made it so much better, it looks like it was recorded on a sears VHS camcorder and keyboard guitars are so in right now. The only question I have is where is Bootsy Collins?
